Green the Orangutan Playing by the Water
On a warm afternoon in the rainforest, Green the orangutan wandered down to the edge of a sparkling stream. The air was humid, and the sounds of chirping insects mixed with the gentle rush of water. Green’s reddish-brown fur glowed in the sunlight as he crouched low, watching the ripples move across the surface.
Curiosity twinkled in his eyes. He reached out a long arm and splashed the water with his hand, sending tiny droplets into the air. Delighted by the effect, Green repeated it again and again, each splash bigger than the last. He rocked back and forth on the muddy bank, almost laughing in his own orangutan way.
Soon, he began dipping sticks into the water, stirring it like a pot, or testing to see which ones floated and which ones sank. A fish darted past, and Green’s eyes widened in surprise. He tapped the water quickly, chasing after the flicker of silver, though never intending to catch it.
Birds flew overhead, startled by his playful energy, but Green paid them no mind. He was too absorbed in the game he had invented. The forest around him seemed to pause, giving him space to enjoy this joyful moment. For Green, the stream was not just water—it was a playground, alive with endless wonders.
